1st Generation (Super West Coast Collaboration Project)

Looks like 2011 is the year of the Hip Hop Super Groups.  First Slaughterhouse signed with Eminem’s Shady Records with a LP scheduled to drop this year, and Random Axe (Sean P, Guilty Simpson and Black Milk) are releasing their first album on Duck Down Records.  Now Kurupt from the Dogg Pound, King T, Jayo Felony, MC Eight and Tha Chill from CMW have come together over Sir Jinx’s Production to form the 1st Generation.

Here is a look at The night before Tha Dogg Pounds performance at the Key Club in Hollywood, a behind the scenes look at the creative process of these West Coast hip-hop legends collaborative venture. The OG’s talk about the days before itunes, whats missing in music, the New West vs Old West fued and much more.  Plus there is some footage from the DPG show featuring Performances by Kurupt, King Tee, B.G.
